For the first time this year, tourism service providers from the Netherlands and the German Länder of Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein are jointly represented at the ITB tourism fair in Berlin.
Whether you like food, games, virtual reality or sand in your shoes – during the ITB on 10-11 March 2018, travel enthusiasts can explore the Wadden Sea World Heritage up close directly on Berlin’s fair grounds. Partnering with the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, the Wadden Sea World Heritage maintains two booths at the world’s largest travel fair.
The Wadden Sea World Heritage stand was awarded second prize in the category "Travel Support and Media" at the Cologne Business School's "Best Exhibitor Awards" (BEA).
In their June meeting, the Interreg North Sea Region Programme’s Steering Committee approved the project “PROWAD LINK”.
On 18 May, the Wadden Sea ministers adopted the Leeuwarden Declaration at the 13th Trilateral Wadden Sea Conference.
