To address current developments and prospects of German border regions and their positions both among themselves and in Europe, on 20-21 April 2023, scientists, area managers, and representatives of politics and other sectors participated in a “Border Region Academy” in Berlin.

The Seal Centre Friedrichskoog and the touristic town of Büsum set the scene for this year´s annual meeting of multipliers of Wadden Sea education and World Heritage interpretation.

“Young Climate Action for World Heritage” is a youth project combining the topics UNESCO World Heritage and climate change with a focus on sustainable action.
On 1 to 3 November 2022, the last partner meeting for the project, which will be concluded with the end of 2022, took place on the Wadden Sea Island of Sylt.

Initiated by CWSS in 2016, the jour fixe with the National Park Authority usually takes place annually. Due to the pandemic, however, this was the first meeting since 2019.
"Our Heritage. Our Future" - this was the theme of the first Trilateral Wadden Sea Youth Conference held in St. Peter-Ording from 1st to 4th September.
